| This error messages doesn't have a single
cause. It may be generated when the site typed
in does not have a DNS entry on the Internet or
the site is not available. When typing in the
site that generates this message, pay attention
to the status bar on the bottom of your web
browser. If the status bar stays on
"Finding site." and then displays the
error message then the name cannot be resolved
on the Internet. If the status bar finds the
site then displays connecting to an IP address,
then the site exists but the server that hosts
the site may be off line. |
